our field trip to Roswell Mill by Jake and David

In this picture we are standing in front of the old Roswell Mill, that closed in 1975, and now it is an office building. We had to be very quiet because now there are people working in it.

Here we are standing in front of the model of the mill. It told us how it worked, and showed us what it looked like. It also told us how long the workers worked for.

Here Hannah, Erica and Mollie are looking at an 8 year old girl who worked 5 and a half days a week, sun up to sun down.   

Over here we are watching a little movie about how Roswell King saw Vickeres Creek and thought it would be a good place for a mill. It also told how he kicked out the Cherokee Indians out.
