Homework!

We know that Hannalee is strong willed and very independent.  Think about what you would do if you were in her situation.  What would you do similarly?  What would you do differently?  Are there things that you admire her for?  Explain what it would have been like if YOU were forced out of your home, moved thousands of miles away from your family, and left without anyone you knew?

    i would do exactly as hannalee did because as soon as she left her home she had a goal and that was to to back home as soon as she could and get away from the yankees.....and...SHE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Mine is ths same as Molly's,
    If I was hannalee,
    as soon as I left my home, I would set a goal to get back home with Jem, and I would want to do it as soon as possible so we dont get caught by the Yankees.

    I would feel sad since I had to leave my family and I had no choice but to do it. I would also feel a little by my-self since I dont know anyone.

    If I were Hannalee, I would of stayed with Rosellan. I would of stayed with her because Hannalee was working at a mill. Also she was living with Rosellan and she was being tauhgt. I admire her because she felt really brave!!

    If I were Hannahlee I would try to be as brave as her. I would be more scared though. She was so brave. I would get to tired walking all that way and seeing all of these dead bodies. It would be really discusting. I don't think I would ever be as brave and confident as hannahlee.

    If I was Hannalee I would go find Rosellen as she did but I would stay with her. I would stay because she was in a good house and the lady was nicer than Mrs.Burton. I admire her she is smart and very brave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If I was Hannalee i would go find Roselen first, and then stay at the mill in Indiana with her.

    If I were Hannalee I would stay with Rosellen so they would be together. I also would go find Jem. I would do as Hannalee did and I would do my goal. If I saw the battle I would be scared too.
