Mrs Coffsky and Schwartz's Field Trip By Hannah Ripans, Samantha Krinsky, and Erica Rubin

                        We are smiling after eating lunch. The lunch was very yummy. The field trip was fun. It was veery cool. we wish we could go back there.

 

Jake and Paul looking at infomation about the mill and how it worked. People worked in the mill from 5 in the morning to 7 at night. Poeple who worked at the mill also workwed 5 and a half days a week. It also showed a map f the mill and the different levels.

In the dam we saw it was very pretty. We could feel the mist hit us because the water was so POWERFUL!!!!! It was very cool to see how the dam worked. It was really fun! It was also EXTREMELY pretty!

We are looking at a miniature model of the Roswell Mill. We clicked a button and we heard a person talking about the mill. The water was flowing to show us how the mill worked and it was very interesting. After that we took a little walk to the mill, and we stopped to read signes. We saw the old mill apartments and people still live in there.

At our field trip to the Roswell Mill, we saw some very cool things. We watched a movie on how Roswell began. Roswell started with the Cherokees. It was named after Roswell King. Roswell King thought it would be a good place to be and he also started the mill in 1839.
